Hi, I'm Kristy Elstone
I’m Hawke’s Bay born and bred, having grown up in Bay View / Eskdale. I went straight into the Royal New Zealand Air Force after finishing 7th form (as it was back then) and spent the next 7 years traipsing around the country and world, while also studying my bachelors degree extramurally. Eventually, I found my way back to Hawke’s Bay, and have been working in HR and H&S locally ever since.

Employment Relations Specialist
I can help with navigating the legal and complex aspects of employment relationships such as disciplinary proceedings, restructures, redundancies, or resolving employment problems. If you have any questions or concerns about unions or collective bargaining, I’m happy to assist having previous experience leading negotiations for several local employers. Additionally, I can provide support interpreting employment law and legislation, which can often be tricky. Drawing upon my operational experiences with payroll management, I have the expertise to offer effective and practical solutions to any Holiday Pay and payroll-related challenges.
